Back in St Kilda...
… and back at 11 Carlisle Street.
In a wonderful and almost humorous development, our old St Kilda pick up spot is now our new St Kilda pick up spot.
The store formerly known as Idaho Vintage, at 11 Carlisle Street, has re-opened after months of remaining vacant. In its place, the SURFACE exhibition and pop up shop.
For one summer only, a wonderful space of stunning made in Melbourne...
We’re coming to Sydney
Yes, due to popular demand and the desire to visit it’s fine shores more often, the Humble Vintage is launching in Sydney later this month.
Apparently the hills are a bitch and the drivers sometimes worse, but we know there are a lot of people riding in Sydney, and of course a ton of people visiting. So topography dictates its not quite as cycle friendly as the generally flat plains of our home...
Where to pick up... In St Kilda?
After the closure of the Idaho Vintage store in the winter, The Humble Vintage is still searching for a pick up spot in St Kilda. To all relaxed cafes, gallery spaces, bookshops, bars, sports clubs or any sort of venue that might have the space for a few pairs of bikes and finds the idea of vintage bike rental appealing or at least intriguing, we’d like to hear from you. That goes for...

R.I.P Idaho Vintage
Some sad news this week that St. Kilda’s Idaho Vintage is no longer.
At this stage there is no St Kilda pick up spot, for now all rentals can be picked up in Fitzroy, South Melbourne, or the CBD. Thanks to Idaho and all the staff, a vintage store by the beach was the perfect St Kilda pick up spot!
If anyone has any suggestions on a cafe, bar, clothing store or gallery in St Kilda that...

The Dutch bike goes 2010.
After being asked endlessly if we sell bikes, and just as often for “Dutch style bikes”, we present you with the bike that is taking the Dutch bike well and truly forward, while remaining as striking as any of our vintage gems.
Winner of the 2009 Euro Bike Best Urban Bicycle award, Amsterdam’s VANMOOF is creating a stir in the Dutch capital, and is one of the smoothest rides...

The Humble Vintage hits St Kilda
Just in time for summer, a selection of our finest rides have a happy home in St Kilda. In a fateful merging of old and new, the store at 11 Carlisle Street had been the home of St Kilda Cycles for as long as anyone can remember. Having moved around the corner to a bigger home on Barkly Street, the shop recently became Idaho, a wonderful new vintage store with clothing, homewares, furniture and...
